What you need ready
A Bangalore checklist before the WhatsApp Business API call
Get these four sorted first, and the only remaining delay for a Bengaluru team is Meta's own queue.
1 A verification document
Your GST or Udyam certificate, or the registration issued under Karnataka's shops act, carrying exactly the name you want shown in chats. Startups often trip on a brand name that differs from the legal entity name.
2 A live website
Meta checks the business publicly. Your product site or landing page should show the same company name and contact details as the document; a privacy policy page helps reviewers too.
3 A movable phone number
Any number that can take the code by SMS or voice call and is not running on the WhatsApp app today. Your Bengaluru support line can move over, but it then works only through the API, not the phone app.
4 Display name and first templates
Use your brand, not a generic word such as 'Support'. Sketch an onboarding or order-status message and a promotional one; the Bikaner team turns both into submittable templates with you.
