Do I need the WhatsApp Business API to monitor my team?
No. StaffPeek is scan-based; it works through standard WhatsApp Web sessions on your desktop, the same way your team already uses WhatsApp. There is no API application, no Meta approval, no Business Solution Provider, and no per-message conversation fees or template gatekeeping. Each staff member scans their WhatsApp once and the session stays logged in on the manager’s PC.
Is monitoring staff WhatsApp legal?
Monitoring business communications is generally permitted when the accounts belong to the business or staff have consented, and when local employment and privacy laws are followed. Best practice is to use dedicated work WhatsApp accounts, tell your team in writing that work conversations are monitored, and limit access to managers.
